Big I Arkansas is proud to serve as the state licensee for The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research and the sole provider of CIC and CISR designation courses in Arkansas. 

For over 50 years, these designations have been regarded throughout the industry as symbols of trust. The National Alliance's practical insurance and risk management courses are taught by active insurance practitioners, include policies and forms currently used in the field, and guide you through real-world scenarios to give you a deep understanding of what your clients are facing today.

All designation courses offered by Big I Arkansas are available to attend online via GoToWebinar or in-person in North Little Rock, AR.


  


CIC | Certified Insurance Counselor - The National Alliance for Insurance  Education and Research


The CIC designation and pin are marks of distinction that demonstrate commitment to professional excellence and leadership in the insurance industry.

The CIC designation signifies a high level of professional education and a commitment to a course of continuing education. CIC designees have indicated they recognize the need for practical insurance education through their careers as insurance professionals. 































































Earning the Designation

Take the five CIC courses of your choice and pass the corresponding exams within five calendar years after you pass your first CIC exam.


Keeping the Designation

After earning your designation, no further examinations are required. To maintain your designation status, you are required to attend a CIC program annually before the last day of your birthday month.

  • Personal Lines: April 20-21, 2022

  • Life & Health: July 20-21, 2022

CISR | Certified Insurance Service Representative - The National Alliance  for Insurance Education and Research 


 

The CISR designation is tangible proof of your commitment to a superior level of customer service - for your clients, as well as for your organization.

Today’s organizations live and die by their customer service—so be great at what you do! If you are thinking about expanding your skills, only one program should be on your radar—CISR. Why? CISR courses are known for preparing front-line professionals to analyze risks, policies, forms, and claims data and communicate that understanding clearly to their clients, carriers, and colleagues.

    

Earning the Designation

Take the five CISR courses of your choice and pass the corresponding exams within three calendar years after you pass your first CISR exam.


Keeping the Designation
