Convention Speakers-06.pngThe Pease Brothers

Kyle and Brent Pease are two brothers from Atlanta Georgia who have revolutionized the field of inclusive athletics. Born with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, Kyle has strived for life beyond his wheelchair, and together with his brother Brent he has achieved that and so much more. The brothers have enjoyed participating in sports since their childhood, but their public journey truly began in 2010, after Brent achieved his first Ironman and Kyle asked to begin running with him in a local 10K race.

Since then, the brothers have never slowed down. Kyle is now a four-time IRONMAN triathlete, and has a career total of more than 75 races. Brent has since finished more than 100 races, including 10 IRONMAN and several 70.3 and Olympic distance events. Most recently the pair became the first brother duo in history to complete the grueling IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

In 2011, the brothers launched the Kyle Pease Foundation, which is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of the disabled through sports. Together Kyle and Brent work to create opportunities of inclusion for every person with a disability. Off the course, Kyle spends his time as a full-time greeter at Piedmont Hospital, and Brent is a coach with Dynamo Multisport, residing in Atlanta with his wife and two kids.
